We’ve been seeing not so many good ads lately by Microsoft. But this one, oh my, Microsoft has come up with a great new ad. Simple, yet innovative!

I know :D about this still thanks for sharing

  • andrew

No, its not innovative. Google did this ages ago

  • Richard

No you don’t have to be good at Maths, 018768000, if adult americans are the target here thats just stupid. Seeing as i’m 14 years old, and from England.

  • Samantha

Richard, clearly this advertisement isn’t directed at Americans if it’s offering a 35,000 to 45,000 salary in Euros. As an American, I can assure you I learned this sort of basic algebra when I was 12 years old.

  • Karl

Actually the salary is in £. Granted this only serves to make Richard’s comment all the more ironic however!

And Google did this years ago, good old MS, always years behind the actual innovators.

  • James

This is an ad for a VB6 developer, so would be circa 1999. MS are not years behind, this article is. Looks like Google copied Microsoft.

    @James
How dare you make such insinuations against our overlord Google.. I mean the benevolent geniuses at Google.
    I shan’t hear a word against them!

    Good day!

  • woop

well seeing that they are trying to find a VB6 developer, the question seems appropriate.

  • Ouroborus

As has been said, Google already did this. This one could be done in one’s head. With Google’s you actually had to make an effort.

“Richard, clearly this advertisement isn’t directed at Americans ”

Too funny. Have we come to such a place that 14 year olds in England overlook the simplest of details just to be able to say American’s are stupid?

    Priceless.
