Creators of the next installment of Call of Duty, Treyarch, have announced that they will be releasing a Hardened and a Prestige edition for the new game Call of Duty: Black Ops. Being an owner of the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige edition, and very pleased with the night vision goggles that come with it, I really wanted to find out what would be inside Call of Duty: Black Ops prestige and hardened editions.

To no one’s disappointment, the hardened edition comes with a Limited Edition Black Ops collectors medal with display case, 4 extra cooperative maps, a PlayStation Home or Xbox Live Avatar outfit and a special-edition Steel-book Case. The Prestige edition will have, in addition to all those collectibles that comes with hardened, a fully functional remote control RC-XD surveillance vehicle that is an exact replica of the one that you will be using in the game.

The game is due for release on the November 9, 2010 in the US and EU. You have to pay $79.99 for hardened and $149.99 for prestige edition as opposed to $59.99 for the regular game. Keep in mind that prestige is the limited edition, you can only pre-order while the supplies last. If you wish to know about similar games, see our review of top PC Games for 2010 and 2011.
