Galaxy note II poses for some shots for the media, revealing its design and giving us idea about its specifications. It hasn’t been a lot of time since the official release of Galaxy SIII, and for Samsung it is as good time as any to strengthen their note series.
On first look, the alleged Note 2 looks like a stretched out galaxy SIII and if turns out to be like that than Samsung needs a new creativity department, speaking of which the Galaxy SII and The original Note do seems similar now that we speak of the two. According to the source – Galaxy Note II will feature 1280 x 800 5.5” Super AMOLED screens, any higher resolution and it would have strained the battery – considering the fact of ginormous screen size. Exynos 4 quad core will be powering the device which will be clocked at 1.5 GHz like the one in SIII and an 8 megapixel camera to finish off the design.
As far as the operating system is concerned; Ice cream sandwich will be running on this device, Samsung is working to develop jellybean for their device but reports suggests that it won’t be ready till its launch but will be available soon after. Hopefully the device will be launched in the upcoming event but as far as creativity and innovation goes Samsung are missing the trick; perhaps their new chip i.e. the Exynos 5 would have fared better with the device.
On another news, Samsung are ready to roll out Jellybean for the galaxy SIII, it is in testing phase and hopefully will start to roll out by next month.
