Nokia yet again attempts to compete with the iPhone with the new X7 device. It features a 680MHz processor with 1 GB RAM which will run the refreshed Symbian “Anna” operating software. The device boasts a 4 inch gorilla glass capacitive touch screen AMOLED Display aided by a proximity sensor and an accelerometer.

This new 3G device has Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and Wi-Fi as well. An 8 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash lets you capture your memorable moments with ease, there’s also a face detection and geo-tagging feature. The Nokia X7 aims to satisfy all your entertainment needs and has multi format playback support on its media player. It comes with Quickoffice viewer should the need arise to access files from Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Unfortunately this device does not support NFC mobile payments. Nokia did come up with some really alluring visuals in the video you can see below however the specs really aren’t that unique. The Nokia X7 will be available in Q2 this year for about $550 which doesn’t seem like a really good deal. For more details visit the Official Nokia product page.
