LG G2X to be available on April 15th from T-Mobile

A Premier multimedia and gaming Smartphone from T-Mobile, LG G2X, will be available from on the 15th of April online and on the 20th of April in stores across the US.

It runs Android 2.2 , upgradeable to 2.3 on a Dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM and removable memory upto 32 GB.The device features a 4 inch brilliant capacitive touch screen display which is aided by a proximity senor, an accelerometer , a gyro sensor and touch sensitive controls.

It offers 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and features dual cameras. An 8 Megapixel primary camera on the back allows you to take high quality stills and 1080p HD video with auto-focus, face/smile detection and geo-tagging thanks to the built in A –GPS support. There is also a secondary 1.3 Megapixel camera on the front.

T-Mobile plans to market the device as a premier multimedia and gaming Smartphone. Need for Speed Shift HD comes pre-loaded on the device along with a demo of N.O.V.A (Sci-fi Action game), T-mobile TV, Zinio eReader and Qik video chat.
