iPhone coming to Vodafone UK on 14th January

Vodafone UK is finally going to offer Apple iPhone from 14th January throughout UK. The smartphone is already being provided O2 and Orange, and now they’ve a new partner.

The Vodafone customers will be able to get either iPhone 3G with £35 or 3GS with £45 monthly subscription packages with a 2-year contract. This time can be reduced to 1.5 years with only £5 extra. However these rates are a little high then the current packages from Orange and O2.

There will be 1GB data cap on mobile internet use while Wi-Fi use is unlimited. According to Guy Laurence, CEO of Vodafone UK, the company has been preparing to handle the new smartphone for an year. There’s also an option to use the iPhone as a modem for £5 extra and 500MB download cap.
