Apple recently launched its iAds program with the release of iPhone 4 and iOS 4. The purpose of this feature is to further improve the earnings for both application developers and Apple while promoting free apps. Although it has proven to be a successful platform for the publishers, it gets annoying at times to view ads while using the applications.

There is a new app called “iAdKiller” for the jailbroken iPhones that lets you disable the iAds feature while using iOS 4. You can read this guide to jailbreak your idevice and then follow the steps below to install iAdKiller.

  • Open Cydia and go to the “Manage” tab.
  • Now select “Sources” from this menu.
  • Tap on Edit and then “Add” to type the following as source

“http://apt.macosmovil.com” and select “Add Source”.

  • Now search for “iAdKiller” and install the app.

The application will now automatically disable the iAds feature from your device.
