		<description>Ubuntu will not boot with less than than 256mb ram into a graphical environment, also even with 256mb you would not be able to start firefox or anything most people would expect to be able to use on a computer. However (at least here in seattle) a functional ubuntu box could still be had for about $25. Just make sure you got enough ram with it.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Damn small only needs 16mb ram, and no hard drive is needed. With 128mb ram it runs pretty damn quick too!</description>

		<description>You can go with even less requirements by using Damn Small Linux (DSL) instead of Ubuntu.  DSL only takes up 50MB of disk space, and the other hardware requirements are probably proportionally smaller as well.</description>
